The journey to Thabankulu takes 3 ½ hours, but don't worry - it will be an adventure. After landing at Johannesburg International Airport (GMT + 2 hrs) a member of Thabankulu's staff will welcome you to South Africa. The farm's own pick-ups are equipped with air-conditioning; snacks and drinks are on board so you can lean back and enjoy the ride. From Johannesburg you'll first take the N1 northbound, then country roads through Nylstroom and Vaalwater.
