In Thabankulu we take great care of both landscape and animals, thus we can rejoice over a huge game population. Best known are our herds of kudus, impalas, waterbucks and gnus and the population of bushbuck and nyalas. Our rivers are visited regularly by hippo colonies; crocodiles use the riverbanks of the Phalala to bathe in the sun.

Ornithologists will get their money's worth: all kinds of birds of passage rest at Thabankulu during their journey and the farm is also home for many native species.

You can cross the farmland on sandy roads and stalking paths; on strategically important points you'll find deer stands.
Our professional hunter and his team are very experienced and thoroughly familiar with the farm's resources. 

For your hunting equipment we would recommend seasonal, washable safari clothing and additional pullovers and windbreakers in winter (dry cleaning is not available).
For stalking it is best to wear strong boots and long trousers. Please be aware that at Thabankulu you are only allowed to hunt with rifles and shotguns.
